Faith Statement

We believe (Faith Statement):

  • The Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
    II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20, 21
  • There is one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. John 10:30; John 14:26
  • Man is created in the image of God but is separated from God by sin. Jesus is the only way to God. Genesis 1:26; I Timothy 2:5
  • We Practice the Great Commandment: Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. Mathew 22: 37 – 40
  • We Execute the Great Commission: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Mathew 28 : 19 – 20
  • In the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Matt 1:23); His sinless life (Heb 4:15); His miracles (John 2:11); His atoning death (I Cori 15:3); His resurrection (John 11:25, I Cori 15:4); His ascension (Mark 16:19); His return (Acts 1:11, Rev 19:11-16)
  • By admitting we have sinned, by believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and accepting Him as Lord and savior, we can spend our eternity with God. Eph 2:8, 9; Rom 5:1; Rom 3:24
  • God gives spiritual gifts to all believers. They are for the edification of God's people (i.e. the Church) and the proof of God's existence and power to unbelievers. I Corinth 12:4-11; I Peter 4:10
  • For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Eph 2:10
  • The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2: 24
  • Jesus will return and take all those who have accepted Him to heaven for eternity. Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:13- 17; Hebrews 9:28
